Congratulations on the completion of your new book!
If you're looking for an opportunity to market your
book directly to your readers, this is the place.


Shop4Books is a new site, designed to promote new authors.
Paperbacks, quarterly magazines (by yearly subscriptions),
chap books, hard covers, soft covers, and books on CD, are
all welcome at Shop4Books.  We can help you promote your
books more safely, by minimizing your financial risk.

Submit your book for display on this site.
First, you will need to provide your customers with a way to pay you.
Go to PayPal and open a "Premier" account.  It's free to set-up, and PayPal
only charges about 2.2% and 30 cents per transaction.  If you sell a $15 book,
PayPal would charge you about 65 cents for doing the transaction. Not bad !
If you are unfamiliar with PayPal, take a look at all the shops that use PayPal.


After you receive conformation that your PayPal account is ready, click the
"Sell" tab, then "Single-item purchases" to set up your PayPal button code.
Specify www.shop4books.7p.com/a_thankyou.html as your return link.


COPY & PASTE your button code into an email, and send it to Shopkeeper, along
with a high quality scan of your book's cover, and two descriptions of your book,
one short (one or two lines), and one full (up to 10 lines), in the body of the email.
Also, you may include a short, professional bio (up to 10 lines).


You will receive an email after your book has been added to this site, so you
may check to see that everything is working properly.  After you are satisfied,
please log into PayPal to remit your $15 payment, for 6 months on this site.

Yes, PayPal is international.

NO pornographic material will be displayed on this site!

You will be responsible for shipping your books to your
customers, and for keeping a good record of your sales,
for income tax purposes.

Please remit $15 for each of your titles, every 6 months.  This will
allow us to better promote our site, and gain even greater exposure
for all of our authors.  I do the site maintenance, so we don't have
to hire it done.  It's a matter of pooling our resources; strength in
numbers.  What "one" can not accomplish, many can!

You may wonder why I'm doing this so cheaply.  I write poetry,
and host a poetry site, with a very active poetry forum.  There
are some highly talented poets on this site, as well as novices.
We're a diverse mix of students, housewives, business people,
teachers, published authors, and publishers.  The site is,
"A Dove's Nest", and I hope this new site will inspire new authors,
and assist them in reaching their goals.  Also, after I'm gone,
I'd like my "stone" to say something nice! *smiling*
